Research Scholar from Budgam bags Young Researcher Award 2021

Srinagar/July,9 : A Research Scholar from central Kashmir Budgam district has been awarded for his research by Institute of Scholars Bangalore.
Dr. Firdous Ahmad Reshi an intellectual ,Research Scholar, Writer, Motivational Speaker, Social Worker, Human Rights Activist and Educationist from district Budgam, was born in the middle class family at Soibugh town of district Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
He did his early schooling from his native town Soibugh. Dr. Firdous did his Graduation from Amar Singh College Srinagar. He has done his Post Graduation in four subjects (Urdu, Islamic Studies, Education and Rural Development) from Kashmir University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad and Indira Gandhi National Open University New Delhi. He also completed his B.Ed and M.Ed from University of Kashmir. In 2016, Dr. Reshi joined Punjabi University, Patiala Punjab for PhD. (Doctorate) in Religious Studies which he completed within a minimum period of two years that became a record submission in the Department of Religious Studies, Punjabi University Patiala Punjab. His Research topic was “Human Rights in Islam: The Study of Children Rights in Iran”.
Dr. Reshi has many achievements to his credit during and after his research; he has participated and presented papers in many conferences of National and International level. He has more than 12 Research publications in Journals of National and International repute with impact factors. In addition to this he has participated and presented papers in at least 200 Conferences/ Seminars/Workshops of National and International level. He is also the Reviewer of many National and International Journals and also life time member of four Academic and Research Organizations.
He is also a regular columnist with Daily Newspaper of Kashmir “Kashmir Horizon”. Dr. Reshi has many National Awards in his credit in the field of Research given by different Research Organizations.
