Recovery rate is at 99.4%, positivity rate below 0.5%: DC Budgam

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza Thursday informed that the positivity rate has witnessed a massive decline in the district and is just 0.5 percent at present, while the recovery rate is at 99.4 percent.
The DC said this during a routine press briefing to present an overall situation of the Covid-19 in the district.
He also added that presently we have below 200 positive cases in the district.
Giving details, the DC said that no death due to Covid-19 has been reported anywhere across the district since quite some period, things are improving gradually and keeping this in view restrictions have been eased to a large extent particularly since the district was put in green zone status.
The DC appealed to all to adhere to all guidelines, follow appropriate Covid containment measures. We still shall not lower the guard till this pandemic is over, he added.
