Ramban: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Wednesday inaugurated awareness cum immunity booster distribution camp organized by Department of Indian System of Medicine (ISM), AYUSH Ramban here Wednesday at DC Office Complex.
District Nodal Officer, ISM, Ramban, Dr. Sanjay Chadha and several other senior officers and staff members participated in the camp.
The DC distrusted immunity booster kits among the district officers and staff members of offices housed in the administrative complex. the DC advised them to take immunity booster medicines as per prescription of the doctors besides practicing yoga on daily basis.
The DC also appreciated the ISM Department Ramban for organizing awareness cum immunity booster distribution camps across the district especially in far-flung areas.
District Nodal Officer, ISM highlighted the importance of AYUSH medicines which help in strengthening the immune system besides improving the overall strength and vitality in humans. He exhorted the officers to spread the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in these times of pandemic among all the staff working at vulnerable spots.
Earlier, Nodal Officer Immunity booster, Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger delivered a lecture on the importance of immunity boosting Ayurvedic and Unani drugs and implementation of Covid protocols to prevent spread of Covid infections.
Beneficiaries appreciated the efforts of ISM Department for distributing immunity booster in appropriate time.
