Comr SMC reviews status of works under different schemes, different heads of accounts

Srinagar/ July,6 : A detailed weekly review meeting was held by Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir  Khan to review status of various works under different schemes and different heads of accounts  including Capex, 14 FC, AMRUT,  SBM, Drainage etc. The meeting was attended by Joint Cimmissioner Adm, Joint Commissioner Works, FA/ CAO, S.E Drainage, Health Officer SMC, Executive Engineer Right River Works, Executuve Engineer Lef River Works, ADP Planning,  Municipal Veterinay Officer,  Chief Transport Officer, Chief Sanitation Officer, IT head ànd other Xen’s, AEE’s, JE’s and other officials.

Commissioner SMC on the occasion reviewed the progress /status of various  works sub division wise. On the occassion different components under AMRUT and water works division wing for smooth supply of water in Srinagar City were also reviewed.  Directions have been issued to each wing to expedite with the remaining works and ensure to complete all the works from different wings in a time bound manner. Regarding financial aspects  Athar has directed to also  dispose of the financial matters and clear payments constantly after the completion of  codal formalities.

Commissioner SMC on the occasion also reviewed the maintenance report of street lights restored and installed. Besides this issuance of Online Birth and Death certification and greviance redressal in Enforcememt wing were also reviewed on the occasion.  Commissioner has strictly directed to all the concerned wings present in the meeting that there should be no pendencies on account of both online and offline grievances. A showcause notice will be served to those officials who would keep pendencies on account of their concerned assignments particularly in not disposing off greviances timely.
