Srinagar: The Ministry of Home has conveyed it’s approval for appointment of Ab Gani Mir the Additional Director General (Law & Order) Jammu & Kashmir Police as IGP, Indo Tibetian Border Police (ITBP) on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of joining the post or until further orders whichever is earlier . The MHA has also directed that Mir be relieved immediately from Jammu & Kashmir Police Department .
