DC Kupwara inspects door to door vaccination campaign in Kupwara town

Kupwara: In order to ensure cent percent coverage of target population under Covid Vaccination, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Friday inspected door to door vaccination campaign in various areas of the Kupwara block. The DC also visited COVID Hospital Kupwara and inspected various sections of the hospital including Covid Centre, OPD, IPD, USG, Labour Room and Emergency section.
During the visit, the DC inspected door to door vaccination at Mir Mohallah, Malik Mohallah, Ganie Mohallah, Sulkote and Gushi area.
On the occasion, the DC urged upon the public to come forward and get vaccinated to protect themselves and others against the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic.
He stressed upon the concerned officers and field functionaries to intensify the door to door vaccination campaign and ensure achievement of the target within the stipulated timeframe.
The DC also interacted with PRIs and directed them to support generously for the vaccination campaign so that the precious lives of the citizens are saved.
District Health Officer Kupwara, Abdul Gani, District Immunization Officer, Nodal Officer for COVID, Tehsildar Kupwara and other concerned accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
