DIPR’s Culture Wing Jammu organises Webinar on Covid Appropriate Behaviour

Jammu: The Culture Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Jammu is organising a series of webinars on “Covid Appropriate Behaviour” in collaboration with various organisations and educational institutions. In this regard, a webinar was Wednesday held on the topic in collaboration with Delhi Public School (DPS), Udhampur.
Managing Director Delhi Public School Udhampur Vivek Gupta was the chief guest and guest of honour was Joint Director Information and Public Relations Jammu, Namrita Dogra, while Deputy Director (Hq) Information Jammu, Dr Rehana Akhter and Principal DPS, Dr Kunal Anand were the special guests.
Around 14 students participated in the symposium and gave messages on the covid appropriate behaviour through poems and speeches.
The artists of the culture wing of Department of Information Jammu performed jingles and self composed songs on covid appropriate behaviour encouraging the participants to follow Covid Safety SoPs.
The chief guest, in his address, appreciated the culture wing of the Information Department for the initiative taken by it to spread awareness regarding corona virus among the people till end of covid 19.
Deputy Director (HQ), Information Department Jammu as special guest threw light on the topic and stressed upon the participants to adopt covid appropriate behaviour to break the transmission chain. She entertained the audience by reciting beautiful poetry to educate them how covid appropriate behavior can help us to get rid of the pandemic.
Eminent Educationists of Jammu also joined the webinar and blessed the children and attendees.
Aleena and Shourya shared 1st position, Varya and Naina bagged 2nd position and Sargam was adjudged for 3rd position. Aradhya Dev Singh 1st and Aradhya class – VIII were given consolation prizes.
The whole program was conducted under the supervision of cultural officer, DIPR, Jammu, Parul Khajuria.
