JammuDeputy Commissioner Anshul Garg Monday said that the district administration Jammu has laid special emphasis on the enforcement of Covid appropriate behavior and vaccination.
“Following Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and Vaccination are two important tools to win the fight against Covid-19 pandemic and these are being given first priority,” he said here at the weekly press briefing.
The Deputy Commissioner said that by following CAB such as maintaining social distance, washing hands, use of face masks and sanitizers, people can help in breaking the chain of Covid-19.
The Deputy Commissioner also said that District Administration has been taking strict action against the persons found violating the SOPs/guidelines and recovering around Rs 90 thousand fine on daily basis.
He appealed to the people to keep following the restrictions and SOPs/guidelines issued by the Administration as they are for their own benefits and protection from Covid-19.
He informed that people can also share their grievances on official Twitter account of Deputy Commissioner “@dcjammuofficial” or through Facebook “District Administration Jammu” and “District Information Center Jammu”.
