The zest of the life precisely depends upon the future of our children which in turn depends upon the plight and predicament of our children. Despite being being the children of 21st century and dwelling in the Era of so modernization and peak of civilization, still our children become the Victims of many addictions, including pornography which is the worst menace among all. Porn industry is Phenomenally increasing its dominance across the globe. This addiction is not only in present times but this has happened in the past too. Child Sexual abuse and exploitation has been happening since decades.. Pornography exists within a sweeping socio cultural context.. The stereotypes about Sexism, gender and Sexual objectification and violence supportive stances also have an important role to play. The advent of Digital Revolution has also led to a great pace of productivity, communication and other desirable ends but pornography has also harnessed its power out of this digital revolution among the children.. Pornography is also associated with unsafe and destructive health practices. Pornography could be the next catastrophe if not addressed on time.. A human made one.. This pitfall can bury the wajood of our future generations if dealt with negligence.. Online podium and practices in majority and more notably how children interact with internet contexture leads to this devastation or menace. The amplitude of online dangers which our children experience for instance, the emphatic and frequency of cyber bullying, sexting, exploitative relationships can also make our children to fall prey to this menace.
Many researches and studies have been made with the aim to condone and minimize the effects of pornography among the children or to know the consumption of pornography our children go through at an early stage of their life.
It’s believed that at least 120 million girls under the age of 20 years, about 1 in 10 have been forced to engross in sex or other Sexual activities. Roughly 90% of adolescent girls are forced to have sex against their will. Approximately 50% of women and 25% of men are believed to have experienced child Sexual abuse..children from 12 to 17 years are most vulnerable. Most often the dependence of pornography occurs due to the ubiquitous nature of our children and the environs they are exposed to. Consumption and addiction can be conjugate with the prevalence of viewing pornography by our teens or children.
Pornography can serve as a blot or stigma on the children’s life which ultimately tends to persuade children either to commit a heinous crime or suicide. Thus affected children must be Approached with love and care to overcome this addiction.
There can be numerous purposes for viewing pornography likewise, the way of relieving negative states and thoughts but prolonged and freely accessible use of pornography contains messages about Sexual temptations and excitements that are deeply problematic and harmful for the children. This is also due to the release of a hormone, namely dopamine which is the prime cause for the pleasure centers of the brain. So parents, caretakers, religious scholars, elderly people, teachers and civil society members, even some ngos have a pivotal role to hinder and curb the menace of pornography.. By educating the children about the consequences of pornography. Undoubtedly parents and teachers are highly responsible and should take child pornography as a matter of grave concern. These group of people should monitor and be vigilant about the activities of the children and must examine their fluctuating moods both psychologically and physically so that they can discover and prevent the use of pornography among the children. Parents and teachers must communicate openly to the children about the use and effects of pornography with ease and comfort.. Exposure to cell phones at the very young stage of life is the basic reason behind this menace. These group of people should held the children accountable of the content they are viewing and time spent on internet. Having Sexual excitements and desires are the natural instincts but watching pornography is not a solution, this is what children are to be taught. Pornography’s clutch to make our children habitual is very deep and powerful and must not be underestimated or neglected.. Extended Pornography use can bring extremely harmful effects like, distorted perception of reality and can make children get easily furious over small incidents. Boredom and unhappiness is very common by the use of pornography. It can make children Sexually impotent and thus brings shame and disappointment to them. Pornography can serve as a blot or stigma on the children’s life which ultimately tends to persuade children either to commit a heinous crime or suicide. Thus affected children must be Approached with love and care to overcome this addiction.
