Srinagar: A 28-year-old youth has committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his home in Bazipora Ajas area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
An official said that the youth (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Bazipora locality of Ajas Saturday morning.
“Soon after the incident he was immediately rushed to community health center (CHC) Sumbal for treatment where died,” he said, adding that the reason for the suicide was not immediately known.
The official said that police have registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations have been initiated in this regard
