Jammu/ June,27 : Bomb disposal and forensic teams were rushed to Jammu Airport this morning after explosions at the Air Force area of the Airport. The blasts were reported at 2 AM.
Media reports quoted Indian Air Force (IAF) sources as saying that all angles are being investigated on what caused the blast. Police said they were waiting for an FIR (First Information Report) by the Air Force. The Jammu airport runway and the Air Traffic Control are under the IAF control, and is also used to operate passenger flights. More details are awaited.
