DC Budgam tours extensively remote area

Budgam:Deputy commissioner Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza Friday conducted a daylong visit in the far flung areas of District including Dadompora, Surasyar, Brenwar, Jabad, Neego, Haijan.
The DC was accompanied by Vice chairman DDC Budgam Mr. Nazir Ahmad Jahara, ACD, SDM, CEO, Division Chadoora EXEN. PHE, PDD, R&B, PMGSY and other concerned officers and officials.
During the visit, the DC took stock of ongoing Developmental projects in area including
Hanjoora Breinwar Road with total length of 11.0 Kms. The DC was apprised that work on 8.2 Kms of road has been completed and for balance of 2.80 Kms, work is in progress by way of Surface corrections. The road shall be macadamised shortly and completed in all respects. The funds for the road stands alloted for an amount of 1383 lacs. The DC also was also briefed that
2 x 45 M Nuahard Bridge over Nallah Doodhganga on Hanjoora Breinwar Road stands sanctioned for an amount of 537 Lacs. The work of Sub & Super structure is in progress. The Bridge shall be completed during current year. On the occasion, the DC interacted Various public delegations who put forth their issues and demands regarding water supply, electricity , road connectivity and better health facilities. The DC redressed many issues on spot and assured that all genuine demands shall be looked into at an earliest.
The DC while taking stock of education, instructed the teachers to impart quality community education to students keeping in view all mandated SOPs of Covid-19 pandemic. During the visit, the DC Budgam in presence of VC DDC Budgam Nazir Ahmad Jahra also inaugurated 50 bedded KGVB Girls Hostel at Brenwar Chadoora
