Baramulla: The Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies (CSs) Baramulla, Gh Mohi ud Din Kulay Wednesday assumed the Charge of several Cooperative Marketing Societies (CMSs).
The Dep. Registrar will now look into the affairs of these societies which include Pattan, Tangmarg, Kachwamuqam, Uri and Kunzer.
After assuming charge, he emphasized to conduct a massive membership drive by disseminating awareness among the people. He also directed to ensure active participation of women which is necessary for achieving the goal of women empowerment.
He also directed to switch over to newer business opportunities which will enhance the business and improve their financial health and generate empowerment opportunities.
Meanwhile, Dy. Registrar visited Palhallan Dairy Cooperative Society, recently established Consumer Store at Wanigam of PACS Wanigam. He said establishment of these shops are the clear impact of financial assistance released under CAPEX Budget 2020-21.
