ADDC reviews progress of PMGSY roads in Bandipora

Bandiora: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora Afsar Ali Khan on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review the progress of road construction under PMGSY.
The ADDC reviewed the progress of various works and discussed the bottlenecks that hinder the progress of projects. On-spot directions were passed for resolution of various issues so that the pace of work can be expedited to complete the projects on a fast-track basis.
Threadbare discussion was also held on pending structure compensation, estimation of land compensation, forest clearance of various roads, alignment issues etc.
The ADDC exhorted upon all the indenting and executing agencies to expedite the pace of work and adhere to the timeline set for the completion of these Roads. He stressed for adopting the target specific approach in the effective completion of works and directed Ex. Engineers set the targets for the same.
He further directed them to work in tandem with the PRIs to monitor the pace and quality of works at grass roots level.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Executive Engineer PMGSY, AEEs and other senior officers of the district.
