Handwara: With the poor inter¬net services in Nowg¬am village of Lanaga¬te area of north Kas¬hmir’s Kupwara distr¬ict, the Jio and Airtel cell¬ular company has come under severe criti-cism with the users, alleging it to be a reason of immense hardships.
The users from the area said that the poor internet connota¬tion has resulted in immense hardships to the people especia¬lly the student comm¬unity for online classes, as there is need of new tower site for the area.
They said that the voice calls,2G, 4G and 3G are not wor¬king in the area at all.
“The tower has been installed in Re¬shwari area but unfo¬rtunately, the servi¬ces are still distant dream for the users of our area including base camp of BSF, Beacon and Nowgam Brigade” they added.
The users said that the officials are pa¬ying no heed over the sufferings of peop¬le. “We approached the concerned officia¬ls personally or by media highlights several times and urged them to redre¬ss our grievances but unfortunately noth¬ing has been done in this regard,” they added. They urged the higher ups to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances at earl¬iest so that the use¬rs there could feel a sigh of relief.
