Srinagar: Police in Srinagar on Tuesday said that it has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday police said that a police Party of Police Station Kothibagh led by SHO PS Kothibagh during checking near TRC apprehended two persons identified as Manpreet Singh son of Dilwandar Singh and Prince Sahota son of Pritam Singh both residents of Jalandhar and during checking recovered 18.3Kgs of Fuki from their possession after which they arrested and shifted to police station where they remain in custody.
Police in the concluding para of the above referred statement also said that a case vide FIR No. 48/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Kothibagh and investigation has been taken up.
