Srinagar: Director General of Police, J&K, Shri Dilbag Singh has condoled the sad demise of Shri Bashir Ahmad Mallah, a retired DIG who left for heavenly abode on 16th June 2021 after brief illness in Srinagar.
Resident of district Kulgam Shri Mallah joined the department in the year 1984 as DySp and was inducted into Indian Police Services (IPS) in the year 2001. He served almost every wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police in many capacities on many key posts and retired as DIG IRP Kashmir in 2009.
Remembering the services of Shri Mallah in the J&K Police department the DGP said that Shri Malla was a competent, dedicated and hardworking Police officer. On behalf of J&K Police Pariwar the DGP J&K has conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
