Vaccination for 18-44 age group starts in Poonch

Poonch: Vaccination for 18 year and above persons was Wednesday inaugurated by District Development Council Poonch, Chairperson, Tazim Akhter and District Development Commissioner, Inder Jeet here at the District Hospital.
For effective covid inoculation drive for the people in the 18-44 age groups, the concerned Health Authorities have established sites across the district including in rural areas and the people can take the vaccination after registration on CoWin app. The vaccine will be administered to this age group free of cost.
Terming vaccination as panacea and ultimate solution to mitigate the Pandemic, the DDC chairperson Tazim Akhter and the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet appealed to the people to get themselves vaccinated for COVID at the earliest to stay safe from the deadly infection.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. G.A Malik, Medical Superintendent, Mushtaq Hussain, Nodal Officer, COVID-19, Zamood Ahmed, Dr. Rahul besides all staff members of health were also present.
