DC Poonch reviews preparedness for execution of Tribal Sub Plan

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet Saturday chaired a meeting to review the preparedness for implementation of Tribal Sub Plan/Work in the district.
Speaking at the meeting, the DC directed the concerned to implement Tribal Sub Plan in the areas having above 50% ST population. He asked the officers to prepare the DPR Plan in consultation with BDC, DDC and all concerned departments.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Agriculture Officer and Chief Horticulture Officer to submit the details of the Crop loss due to hailstorm on 11.06.2021 by Saturday evening. He also directed the concerned officers for early preparation and submission of DPRs for further course of action under TSP.
It was informed in the meeting that Rs 10 crore ceiling is received for the preparation of DPR.
The DC directed the district Tribal officer to hold monthly meetings to review physical/financial issues regarding Tribal Sub Plan.
The Deputy Commissioner said that TSP envisagesthe rapid Socio-economic development of tribal people and forms a part of annual Plan and the benefits given to the tribal areas are in addition to what percolate from the overall plan.
The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer, Hydraulic, Poonch, Assistant Commissioner Development, Executive Engineer, PWD, PHE, PDD, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, BDO(all), District Social Welfare Officer, District Tribal Welfare Officer Poonch besides other concerned officers were present.
