Admin making timely efforts to build strong road infra in the district: DDC Ang

Anantnag: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla Saturday said that strong road infrastructure is being built in the district to improve physical connectivity for public comfort and convenience besides facilitating economic activities and development.
He informed that District Administration is making timely efforts and leaving no stone unturned to clear all the bottlenecks impeding progress on these roads.
The DDC made these remarks during his visit to PMGSY road construction projects/sites at Nowshera, Sirhama, Hatigam, Darigund, Viddy and other places where he took onspot assessment of the ongoing works.
Dr. Singla further said that the Revenue, Forest, PDD, Jal Shakti and other departments have been directed to coordinate with each other and work in tandem for smooth execution of these projects adding substantial progress has been made in recent times.
The current working season is being utilised fully which will help in achieving targets and creating valuable physical assets, he remarked.
Meanwhile, people hailed the authorities and administration for speeding up the progress on infrastructure development and road construction projects in the district.
