Ensure 100% vaccination of target population in a time bound manner: DC Ang

Anantnag: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla Thursday directed the concerned officers to intensify efforts for ensuring cent percent vaccination of the priority/target population in a time bound manner.
The DC passed these directions while chairing a meeting of officers of revenue, health and other departments at Dak Bungalow Khanabal, here.
During the proceedings, Dr. Singla reviewed the progress of vaccination besides the steps being taken to accelerate the same in the district.
The meeting was informed that 1.63 lac people from the eligible population have been inoculated with 2.33 lac doses so far.
Showing satisfaction over performance of health and other concerned departments, Dr. Singla asked the officers to work harder and fine tune the strategies at micro-level for better results.
He also exhorted for strong coordination among AEROs (Tehsildars), BMOs and BLOs to plan things and frame lists at Polling Station level for vaccinating the remaining target population soon.
The meeting was attended by ADC (S) , all SDMs, ACR, Tehsildars, CMO, Dy. CMO and other concerned officers.
Later, in a separate meeting with officers of Revenue and Social Welfare Departments, the DC directed for immediate identification of those families who have lost their sole bread earners due to Covid and thus may be enrolled for immediate financial assistance under SASCM (SAKSHAM) sheme.
The meeting was attended by ADC (S), SDMs, Tehsildars, DSWO and other concerned officers.
