Srinagar: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held by Kulgam Police at DPO Kulgam. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
The meeting was chaired by DySP Hrqs Kulgam Ghulam Mohd Bhat and other officers/officials were also present. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of Mohanpora Kulgam, Panchs, Sarpanchs, Members of Trade Federation, Numberdars and Chowkidars of the area.
During the meeting, the participants raised various issues of public importance pertaining to police as well as civil administration. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
Speaking on the occasion, Dy SP Hqrs Kulgam said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and support of people for better policing and would be conducted in the future as well.
The participants were advised to cooperate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identifying anti national and anti social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment. The participants were also asked for their full co-operation in adherence to the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by government from time to time in view of Covid -19 pandemic. He has assured people that police is committed to create drug free society and will take every step to save the young generation from becoming victim of drug mafia.
He also thanked the people for participating in the meeting and sharing valuable feedback. The meeting concluded with good note of thanks and appreciations from public.
