Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Tuesday chaired a meeting of district officers and officers of executing agencies to take the first-hand appraisal of various developmental projects in the district.
On the occasion, the DC sought a detailed account of various developmental works under different sectors from the concerned officers who briefed him about the physical and financial progress on the implementation of several projects.
The DC also reviewed the status of various languishing ongoing projects and works approved in the Back to Village programme. He impressed upon the officers to speed up the pace of work on these projects.
He also stressed for regular monitoring of works and directed the district heads to meet the targets and set timelines for the completion of vital projects in the district.
The DC also took stock of the estimation process of new works to be executed under District Capex. He fixed timelines for completion and submission of estimation of these works.
The meeting among others was attended by ACD, CPO, CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, PDD.
