Srinagar: Budgam police on Friday held two police-public interaction meetings while following social distancing norms & other protocols.
Police in a statement issued here on Friday said that at Police Station Chadoora, the police-public interaction meeting was chaired by SHO PS Chadoora and was attended by respectables of the area, Auqaf Committee members, Trade union representatives, Panchs, Sarpanchs, Nambardars and Chowkidars.
Similarly at Police Station Khag, the police-public interaction meeting was chaired by SHO PS Khag and was attended by with respectables of the area, Auqaf Committee members, Trade union representatives, Panchs, Sarpanchs, Nambardars and Chowkidars.
The main aim of these meetings was to strengthen the Police Public relationship and to aware the participants about the SOPs and other guidelines of Covid-19 issued by the Govt.
During these meetings, the participants raised some grievances regarding the problems faced by them. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. The participants were also briefed about the precautionary measures to be adopted to contain the spread Covid-19.
