Srinagar: Police on Thursday said that it has arrested two burglars and recovered stolen property from their possession.
In a statement issued here on Thursday police said “ a police party from Police Station Tarzoo headed by SHO PS Tarzoo arrested two burglars during patrolling at New Lite Colony Sopore and recovered stolen property from their possession after which they were identified as Aqib Ahmad Najar son of Abdul Qayoom Najar, Qazi Tawkeer son of Qazi Irshad both residents of Chankhan Sopore”.
Stating that the above named accused were shifted to police station where they remain in custody, police in it’s statement also said that 3-wheeler vehicle bearing registration number JK05H-9755 used in the commission of the crime has also been seized.
In the concluding para of the above referred statement police said that a case vide FIR No. 58/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Tarzoo and further investigation has been taken up.
