Ramban: To discuss the enlistment of registration of ‘D’ class contractors for Panchyat level works, Superintendent Engineer, Jal Shakti, Hydraulic, Doda, Arun Gupta Tuesday met the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam.
Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti, Sunil Sharma and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
While reviewing progress on the registration, the DC asked SE to complete the process at the earliest to provide job opportunities to locals and to expedite the development works in rural areas.
The Superintendent Engineer apprised the DC that Jal Shakti Department has targeted to register 2 to 3 contractors in each Panchayat of the district which would help in providing job opportunity to local youth.
The SE informed that, Department was soon going to hold camps to register aspirants and an officer has been designated to collect applications and formalities from the aspirants. He further said that the applicants will be informed telephonically or through other modes of communication for the date and venue of registration camp.
He also highlighted the formalities necessary for the registration of contractor at Panchayat level, including property certificate duly countersigned by ACR, bank balance certificate above Rs. 2000, police verification through SSP and Addl. District Magistrate, Domicile certificate, Aadhar card/ Election card, Un-employed certificate issued by Assistant Director Emplacement/ Panchayati Raj Institutions duly attested by concerned Tehsildar, Affidavit, 3 photos, while the retired employee need to furnish copy of pension case settled and experience certificate from A class contractor.
