Dr Farooq, Omar, Hakeem, Altaf, Mir, Ors condole demise of Mufti Faiz Ul Waheed

Srinagar: National Conference President and Member Parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President Omar Abdullah besides many top mainstream leaders including Chairman Peoples Democratic Front Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, President J&K Apni Party Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and President J&K Congress Gh Ahmad Mir expressed profound grief over the demise of Mohtamim Madrasa Maarif Ul Quran, Bathandi, Mufti Faiz Ul Waheed, who on Tuesday morning breathed his last earlier.

In their condolence messages issued on Tuesday the Party President and Vice President paid rich tributes to late Mufti sahib saying that he will be remembered for his ease of illuminating exposition of Islamic tenants and various facets of the holy Quran and the Hadith. Late Mufti sahib, the duo said, was a highly erudite personality with illustrious works in the field of jurisprudence and translation of various Arabic texts to his credit. In his passing away, they said, Jammu and Kashmir has lost a scholar, who had made teaching and peace building his sole purpose in life. The president and Vice President prayed for peace to the departed in the highest stations of Jannat. They also expressed unison with his admirers, family and friends in their hour of grief and loss.

Condoling the demise of Mufti Faiz Ul Waheed, Bukhari expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.In a statement issued on Tuesday he said Mufti’s demise has created a huge void in the society as he was a spiritual leader who always inspired the people towards the path of peace and serenity.“The deceased was a prominent Islamic scholar and a noted orator who during his lifetime always stressed on the necessity of cultivating values of philanthropy, simplicity and modest living among the people,” he said.He said that his contribution to the society will always be remembered as he is the first Islamic scholar who translated the Holy Quran into Gojri Language besides authoring several other books. “I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family, friends and Mufti Saheb’s followers in general,” he prayed.
Condoling the demise of Mufti Faizul Waheed, Chairman Peoples’ Democratic Front Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen while condoling demise of Mufti Faizul Waheed, described him a great religious preacher and Islamic scholar who has translated holly book of Quran into Gojri language . He said late Maulana had dedicated his whole life for preaching of Islamic education among the masses . ” Late Mufti Faizul Waheed was highly respected and revered among the muslim community, ” Hakeem maintained. He said late Maulana was an authority on Fiqh – Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharia Law ) and also the patron of an Islamic seminary, Madrasa Markaz Maarif Ul Quran, located at Bhatindi, Jammu. PDF Chairman prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and his elevation to the highest place in heaven.
Condoling the demise of Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed the JKPCC President Gh Ahmad termed his demise an irreparable loss to the people of J&K. “I was deeply shocked to learn about the passing away of Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed and have no words to express my grief,” JKPCC president added and paid rich tributes to the renowned Islamic Scholar. Mufti was credited with first translating the Holy Quran into Gojri language, which was indeed a big contribution on the part of Mufti to the people of J&K, Mir said. JKPCC President conveyed deepest condolences to family and followers of Mufti and prayed his eternal peace
