Jammu: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer Tuesday inspected the progress of ongoing work on bi-directional Tunnel (KM 83) of NH-244 on Doda-Kishtwar axis.
As per the directions of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, works on all mega projects are being facilitated by the administration, after fulfillment of all Covid related SOPs.
This is to ensure that the Mega projects are completed as per the designated milestones and COVID situation does not hamper progress of the developmental activities.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar and General Manager, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL)- the implementing agency for the project, accompanied the Divisional Commissioner during the site visit.
The Deputy Commissioner also briefed the Divisional Commissioner regarding the Covid testing strategy being adopted at the work sites.
