DDC Chairperson Ramban reviews MG-NREGA plan; Inspects poly-green houses at Sangaldan

Ramban: Chairperson, District Development Council, Rambn, Shamshada Shan Saturday reviewed progress on establishment of Panchayat level Covid Care Centres, and also inspected naturally ventilated poly-green houses in Sangaldan.
Block Development Officer, Sangaldan and several other block level officers were also present on the occasion.
The Chairperson also reviewed the progress on formation of the MG- NREGA plan for the block Sangaldan.
During the review meeting, the Chairperson directed concerned officers to take up works which provide benefit to local labourers, especially in the time of Covid pandemic. She said that MG-NREGA is playing a vital role in increasing the rural economy across the district and helps the labourers to earn bread and butter at their door steps.
While taking stock of the establishment of isolation Covid Care Centres (CCC) in all Panchayats of the block, the Chairperson directed Block Development Officer to ensure adequate arrangements in these centres .
She also appreciated the District Administration for taking prompt action to establish the centers in all Panchayats of the district.
After inspecting poly-green houses, the DDC Chairperson said that these will help in increasing vegetable and fruit production in the district.
She added that the administration, especially the Agriculture and Horticulture departments should provide such facilities to maximum farmers of the district.
