Srinagar: Police in Sopore on Thursday said that it has arrested a thief red handed from the premises of an industrial area at Baba Raza area of Sopore and recovered stolen property from his possession.
In a statement issued here on Thursday police said “a police party of Police Station Tarzoo headed by SHO PS Tarzoo during patrolling arrested a thief red handed while stealing body parts of vehicles parked in the premises of an industrial area at Baba Raza area of Sopore identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Khaliq Dar resident of Mahrajpora Sopore”, adding that “stolen items have also been recovered from his possession and shifted to police station where he remains in custody”.
Police in it’s statement also said a case vide FIR number 52/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Tarzoo and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.
