Baramulla: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Bhupinder Kumar accompanied by concerned functionaries Tuesday conducted an inspection of several Covid-19 Vaccination Centres where he took first hand appraisal of the vaccination process.
It is worth mentioning here to mention that district administration has established several vaccination centres throughout the district as part of the special vaccination drive under which street vendors, salesmen, transporters, media persons among other eligible beneficiaries having age between 18-45 years have been vaccinated.
All the designated centres were established in accessible destinations so that the beneficiaries could easily approach these centres and get vaccinated.
During the inspection, the DC took review of various aspects related with the vaccination programme wherein he emphasized upon the concerned functionaries to ensure that all the eligible and targeted beneficiaries are covered in the programme.
He also directed the concerned to work in coordination and cohesion so that the process is smoothly executed.
Meanwhile, the DC said that vaccination is the only viable option to get rid of this pandemic apart from following Covid-19 SOPs and guidelines. He urged upon the people to come forward at their stipulated time and not pay heed to the rumours that are being spread by some miscreants.
Moreover, DC stressed upon various officers to work towards the elimination of all apprehensions and misconceptions among the masses regarding the vaccination.
