Pulwama: The Department of Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH), Pulwama Monday distributed free medicines among Media Persons at the DC office, here.
On the occasion, Medical Officer, Ayush, Dr Ali Mohammed Reshi said that Media Persons have a vital role in disseminating the information regarding prevailing situation particularly during the Pandemic.
He said their aim is to provide immunity boosters to the media persons (working as frontline workers), so that they can protect themselves from infection.
Dr Reshi further said that the medicines will help in reduction of respiratory disorders, increasing immunity besides also improving strength and vitality.He advised the Media Persons to use AYUSH medicines to increase their immunity.
Dr. Mohammad Altaf, Incharge Ayush Unit DH Pulwama, M. Yaqoob (Information Department) and a number of media persons were present on the occasion.
