Ration kits , other items distributed among poor & needy in Handwara : Police

Srinagar: Police in Handwara on Sunday said that it has distributed ration kits and other items among poor and needy families in Handwara.
In a statement issued here on Sunday police said “the distribution function was held in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara” adding that “SHO PS Handwara distributed the ration kits and other items among the poor and needy families while following the social distancing norms and other protocols”.
In the concluded para of its above referred statement Police reiterated that it is always ready to render helping hand to the people and assured that reach out programmes shall continue in the police district. “Earlier the ration kits were also distributed among poor families falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Qalamabad, Police Posts Langate, Magam and Chogal”, reads further the police statement.
