Jammu/May,24 : Police in Jammu on Monday said that it has recovered 300 grams of Charas and arrested on drug peddler in Janipur area of this winter capital.
In a statement issued on Monday police said ” several nakas were established at different places and one such naka was established by Police team of Police Station Janipur led by SHO P/S Janipur Inspr. Nayat Ali at Paloura chowk where alert cops rounded up a suspect who tried to hide himself after being signaled to stop and was identified as Mohd Farooq S/o Late Qamir Din R/o Shajroo Jamslan Teh Mohare Distt.Reasi”.
Stating that 300 Gms of Charas was recovered from the said suspects, police in it statement said “case FIR No.68/2021 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at P/S Janipur and the accused was arrested”, adding that
“Further investigation of the case is going on”
