Kupwara: The District Level Monitoring Committee for Purchase of Medical Equipment (DLMCPME) under COVID-19 in Kupwara district met Saturday under the Chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone.
The meeting discussed threadbare various aspects for purchase of medical equipment and other required items in the health care institutions and hospitals in the district with regard to containment measures of COVID-19 pandemic.
The ADDC directed the concerned BMOs to follow strictly all guidelines/norms of SDRF/NDRF rules for Covid 19 issued by Ministry of Home affairs and ensure that proper procedure is implemented in procurement and Purchase of equipment through GeM Portal and as per the extent of rule/codal formalities.
The Committee also discussed the matter of establishment of 5 bedded Panchayat level Covid care centres in every Panchyat with availability of oxygen facilities.
The meeting was attended by District Tuberculosis Officer, District Treasury Officer, DHO, Accounts Officer DC office, Medical officer ISM, Medical Officer, besides, BMOs of the district.
