Srinagar: SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem on Thursday held an interaction meeting with police personne; at Police Station Magam. The aim of the meeting was to prepare police personnel and officers physically & mentally in wake of spreading Covid-19 pandemic.
Among other officers who attended the interaction meeting include SDPO Magam, SHO Police Station Magam, SHO Police Station Beerwah, SHO Police Station Khag, DO Police Post Narbal and other officers & jawans of Sub division Magam.
Addressing the meeting, SSP Budgam appreciated the role of Budgam Police in tackling the situation of Covid-19 pandemic. He stressed upon them to follow COVID-19 SOPs issued by the Government and asked them to be both physically and mentally prepared in view of second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, besides counter any challenge and deal with any type of eventuality professionally .
SSP Budgam also advised the jawans and officers to focus on their duties, so that the nefarious designs of anti social elements could be well checked in before. He stressed upon them to gain public confidence, good will and always be compassionate and helpful to the needy people. He advised them to attend the genuine grievances of the people. He also exhorted upon officers and jawans to keep doing good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing duties. The interactive proceedings concluded with best wishes for all jawans and officers of District Police Budgam.
