Srinagar: Director, Rural Development Department (RDD) Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar Wednesday reviewed the progress of different schemes including Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) being implemented by the Department here.
The meeting was attended by All ACDs/DPOs and Exens of Kashmir Division through virtual mode from their respective District headquarters.
During the meeting, a detailed review of different flagship programmes like CD & Pyt Sector, MGNREGA, PMAY-G, Rural Mason Training Programme under PMAY-G, Physical/financial progress under 14th FCA was taken besides status of RDA Cases/ACB Complaints/On-line Grievances was also reviewed.
The concerned officers were enjoined upon to achieve the targets within stipulated timelines besides officers were directed to ensure release of wage payment under MGNREGA within fixed timeline. The officers were also asked to take up new works so as to provide succor to the Rural labourers during COVID-19 pandemic.
The Director also stressed upon the Officers to ensure coordination with PRI members for dissemination of awareness related to adherence to SOPs like hand hygiene, social distancing, wearing of masks to general public.
