Anantnag: A cycling expedition was on Tuesday organised by 99 RCC part of BRO Project Beacon on May,4 . The expedition was organised under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav and as part of BRO Day Celebrations.
The theme of the expedition was covid awareness. The cycling expedition was flagged off by NK Dixit Commander 760 BRTF from Jawahar Tunnel. The cyclists will be covering the distance till Srinagar and will reach Headquarter Project Beacon on 7th May to commemorate Border Road Organization BRO Day celebrations. The cyclists distributed masks, sanitizers, covid safety kit and pamphlets enroute to citizens and also briefed them regarding Covid precautions.
