SSP Budgam inspects DPL Budgam; reviews functioning of all units/sections

Srinagar: SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem along with DySP DAR Monday visited District Police Lines Budgam and took stock of the functioning of all sections/units amid the resurge of Covid-19. He also interacted with the staff posted in these sections/units.
SSP Budgam while inspecting different sections/units took stock of their functioning and emphasized upon the staff to put best possible efforts to ensure maximum services to the department during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
He also inspected the vaccination centre and stressed upon Dy SP DAR and BMO Budgam to accelerate the pace of vaccination and complete vaccination of all left out personnel within 3 days.
During the inspection of Tradesman Complex directions were given for proper ventilation of various sections like barber shop, tailoring unit etc. He also gave directions for keeping all possible facilities in the hall that has been dedicated as isolation centre for any Covid-19 positive case if reported.
During inspection of different other sections, he stressed upon the supervisory officers and technical staff to work with more dedication in providing necessary services to the personnel and the department continuously amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. SSP Budgam also stressed upon all to follow social distancing and other SOPs at all times for better containment of Covid-19 outbreak.
