Stay indoors, cooperate with FCS&CA field employees, fight covid with wisdom : EJCC’s Aijaz Khan tells People

Srinagar/May 1: Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir and President CAPD Employees Association Kashmir Aijaz Ahmad Khan has expressed concern over the deteriorating situation due to the outbreak of second wave of Covid-19 Pandemic. He said this virus can be fought back if People of Jammu and Kashmir deal it with the wisdom and follow the SOPs drawn by the Medical Fraternity. The President CAPD Employees Association Kashmir appealed People of Jammu and Kashmir to stay in doors and strictly adhere to the decision of implementing Lockdown.”People should maintain hygiene and should not come out of their Houses unnecessarily or until they have an emergency,”he said.

In a statement issued from the central Office of CAPD Employees Association Kashmir, Khan has desired a good cooperation with the field staff of Food Civil Supplies Department,who he said, have been out of their houses, risking their lives for the sake of the People and for delivery of services to people . “The only staff which got ignored from the Government periscope but they are still out, treating work as worship and serving the people tirelessly”, said EJCC Chairman . Khan also requested the Feild staff to maintain hygiene and follow SOPs while delivering their duties,saying that “a day will come, when every one from the Government will admire the efforts of our Department and its warriors in this time of Pandemic” .

Khan also said that the Government should acknowledge the efforts of the Employees and Fair Price Shop dealers of Food and Civil Supplies Department and the goodwill of Employees and Fair Price Shop dealers. “The immediate remedy will be temporarily suspending the biometric authentication through point of sale devices”, said Chairman CAPD Employees Association Kashmir .
