Lockdown in Jammu : 36 FIRs lodged, 35 arrested, 30 commercial establishments seized for covid violations in 24 hours

Jammu: Jammu Police has taken stringent measures for the implementation of COVID 19 guidelines. In a drive against the violators of the law, a massive action has been taken by Jammu Police in which several different FIRs against the violators of DM Order. In total 36 FIRs were lodged within 24 hours by Jammu Police. Also, 35 persons were arrested and 30 shops were seized in violation of the COVID 19 guidelines.
A police statement issued on Friday said “36 FIR include 6 in Police station Gangyal, Janipur and Satwari each, 5 in Gandhi Nagar, 4 in Channi Himmat, 3 in Pacca Danga, 2 each in Nagrota and Bagh e Bahu and one in Akhnoor Police station.
Police in it’s statement again appealed people adhere to the SOP’s so that the further spread of the virus can be checked. Let’s all pledge to follow SOP’s to break the chain
