Budgam police holds interaction meetings

Srinagar: Budgam Police facilitated three interaction meetings with police personnel at PS Chadoora, PS Magam and PS Beerwah. The meetings were held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
At PS Chadoora, SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem chaired an interaction meeting with police personnel at PSs Chadoora/Chrar-i-Sharief, PP Pakherpora and Armed Police personnel. The main aim of the interaction meeting was to prepare both constables and officers physically & mentally in wake of spreading Covid-19 pandemic.
On the occasion, SDPO Chrar-i-Sharief, DySP PC Chadoora, SHO PS Chadoora, SHO PS Chrar-i-Sharief and other officers of Sub-division Chrar-i-Sharief were also present. Speaking to police personnel and officers on the occasion, SSP Budgam advised them to focus effectively on their duties and be an example of honesty for others. He also stressed upon the officers and officials to gain public confidence and always be compassionate and helpful to the needy people. He also directed them to attend the genuine grievances of the people on priority besides exhibiting high level discipline.
He exhorted upon the officers and police personnel to keep doing good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing duties. He also appreciated the role of Budgam Police for covid-19 pandemic containment. He also stressed upon the officers and policer personnel to follow Covid-19 SOPs issued by the government and asked them to be both physically and mentally prepared in view of second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and to do whatever possible beyond the call of duty for the measures of containment of covid-19 besides countering any challenge or eventuality professionally.
Similarly, two interaction meetings were also chaired by SDPO Magam Mohammad Saleem Bhat at PS Magam & PS Beerwah respectively. During the interaction meetings, the officers and police personnel were advised to follow Covid-19 SOPs issued by the government in letter and spirit besides implementing the same on ground professionally.
With regard to welfare measures of the police personnel, the chairing officers assured them that due care will be taken in this aspect too. Many grievances put forth by police personnel were resolved on the spot.
