DC Kulgam inspects HFO Plant at DH

Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Tuesday visited District Hospital and took stock of services available for patient care.
During his visit the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the ongoing work process of a high flow oxygen plant in the hospital and stressed to redouble efforts to make the plant functional at an earliest so the sufficient oxygen shall be made available to the patient at the hospital.
The Deputy Commissioner also took stock of the arrangements which have been put in place for dedicated covid isolation wards and treatment of Covid patients here.
Medical Superintendent, Muzaffar Ahmad Zargar briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the availability of patient care services at the hospital.
The DC directed for ensuring proper healthcare to patients and safety to frontline health workers besides hygiene and cleanliness in the hospital.
He said the administration is taking adequate proactive steps for augmenting and keeping the medical infrastructure in ready gear to meet out any eventuality.
He added that several measures have been taken by administration to contain the coronavirus infection in the district and urged people to adhere to COVID-19 SOPs and guidelines in letter and spirit and added that adherence to SOPs is an effective way to fight CoronaVirus.
