ADC Tral holds meeting with Lumberdars, Chowkidaars on covid pandemic

Pulwama: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tral, S A Raina Tuesday held a meeting with Chowkidaars and Lumberdars of the area for the containment of covid Pandemic.
He discussed SOPs and other guidelines with them to prevent the transmission of virus besides Vaccination drive being held in the district and asked them to encourage people to get vaccinated.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Tral, Naib Tehsildar Tral and Dadsara and all Lumberdaars and Chowkidaars.
On the occasion, ADC said upsurge in COVID-19 is at its peak which needs to be curbed by joint efforts as fighting this disease is our joint social responsibility. He urged participants to forward the message with regard to transmission and prevention in the community to contain the infection in the area. He appealed to people to taking precautions seriously to control spreading of disease.
He stressed on limit social gatherings and avoid close contact with infected persons besides directed to Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
A DC stressed on continuous vaccination drive which is underprocess for 45 years of age in the area at 10 vaccination sites.
He appealed participants to play their role to make the vaccination drive successful.
