Sopore: A young medical representative Bashir Ahmad Dar ( 40 ) son of Mohmad Shaban Dar resident of Muslim peer Sopore on Monday succumbed to covid-19 at SMHS hospital Srinagar.
Family sources said that Dar was admitted at SMHS Srinagar as covid -19 patient a week ago but succumbed on Monday to deadly virus. He was medical representative in Alkem laboratories Delhi and just a week ago he attended a meeting in Delhi, and on his return from Delhi he tested positive for COVID-19 . Dar was admitted in SDH Sopore where from he was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment but succumbed to deadly virus on Monday morning at SMHS hospital Srinagar. The body was handed over to his family and his last rites were performed in the later half of the day on Monday . Meanwhile SSP Sopore Sudhanshiv Verma has appealed people to follow precautions and sop’s against the covid -19
