Budgam Police bids farewell to outgoing Officers, B’pora Police felicitates the promoted officer

Srinagar: Budgam Police organised a farewell function at GOs Mess Humhama in the honour of outgoing SDPO Magam Showkat Ahmad and SDPO Charar-i-Sharief Syed Fayaz Ahmad upon their transfer from the district Budgam.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem threw light on the tenure of departing officers and commended their supervisory skills, professionalism, humane nature and decision making during toughest situations.
In their farewell addresses, the departing officers shared their experience as SDPO Magam and SDPO Charar-i-Sharief respectively and extended their gratitude to all ranks of District Police Budgam for their cooperation and indentation towards duty.
On the occasion, Addl SP Budgam Amit Verma, Dy SP Hqrs Budgam, SDPO Khan Sahib, Dy SP DAR DPL Budgam, Dy SP PC Budgam, Dy SP PC Chadoora and other officers were also present. Later on, the departing officers were given mementos and gifts as a goodwill gesture and SSP Budgam extended best wishes for them for their future assignments.
Meanwhile, in Bandipora a felicitation ceremony was organized in which SSP Bandipora Mohammad Zahid accompanied by Dy SP Hqrs Bandipora pinned rank to the newly promoted Inspector Rayees Ahmad.
SSP Bandipora congratulated the newly promoted officer and his family and advised him to continue doing work with more enthusiasm and highest degree of dedication. He wished the officer good luck for a bright future. While thanking the department for the timely promotion, the promoted officer pledged to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm in ensuring peace in society and better public services.
