Srinagar/April, 23: The Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir and President CAPD Employees Association Kashmir, Aijaz Ahmad Khan has appealed Commissioner Secretary FCS&CA Deptt Jammu and Kashmir. Zubair Ahmad and Director FCS&CA Deptt Kashmir Dr. Abdul Salam Mir to immediately issue PPE kits to the Feild Officials of the Department.
In a statement issued on Friday Khan said that the Field Officials viz a viz Storekeepers, Fair Price Shop Dealers, Kandamans and Hamaals are performing their duties in these tough times of deadliest wave of Covid-19 and are sleeves up in providing the Rations to the Consumers are at greater risk. He said that the Government of India seeks the preventive measures for all the Covid Warriors, but he Field Officials of the Food Supplies Department are being ignored till now.
Khan assured the Employees and Fair Price Shop Dealers that he will take the issue with the authorities and get the needful done at an earliest. Khan through the medium of this presser has appealed the authorities to ensure the availability of Masks, sanitizers, Gloves and other necessary equipments that help to combat the deadly virus of Corona Virus. The President of the Association has also appealed the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to acknowledge and applaud the work done by the Feild Officials of Food Supplies Department who have and are risking their lives for the sake of integrity of the Nation.
