Srinagar: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the poor and needy people, Budgam Police distributed 30 water purifiers and food kits among the poor and needy families of Khag area of district Budgam.The distribution function was held by SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem accompanied by ASP Budgam, SDPO Magam and other senior officers.Ramadan food kits which include dates, vermicelli (sewaiyan), semolina (suji), dry fruits, rice, sugar, mustard oil, flour etc and 30 water purifiers were distributed among poor and needy (BPL) families of Khag area.
Budgam Police reiterated that Police is always ready to render helping hand to the people and assured the participants that more such reach-out programmes shall be carried out in the district.
