Div Com(J) conducts on-spot inspection of dev projects in Sunderbani

Jammu: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer Monday conducted an extensive tour of Sunderbani Sub Division of district Rajouri and inspected various developmental works including roads, Higher Education and Health Infrastructure projects.
The Div Com was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar; Additional SP, Girdhari Lal Sharma; Tehsildar Concerned, Block Medical Officer, Executive Engineer PWD other concerned officers.
At the outset, the Divisional Commissioner inspected the widening work on Jammu-Poonch National Highway at main rotary Sunderbani. The BRO officers briefed the Divisional Commissioner about the progress of the work so far and the future work plan.
The Div Com instructed the BRO to expedite the pace of work on the road for its timely completion.
The Divisional Commissioner also inspected the progress of work on under-construction buildings of Government Degree College and Sub District Hospital Sunderbani.
At SDH Sunderbani, the Public apprised the Div Com that there is a dire need for provision of exit gate in the Hospital. They said that at present there is only one gate and it becomes difficult to move the ambulances during an emergency.
The Div Com directed the Revenue Officers to submit a proposal along with revenue papers for meeting the public demand.
The concerned officers apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the works completed so far and future work plans. The concerned officers apprised the Divisional Commissioner that the work was in progress on both projects, with minor bottlenecks, which are being resolved.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the executing agencies to resolve the issues at the earliest and expedite the pace of work for timely completion of both the prestigious projects so that the public could avail the benefits. He also instructed them to ensure the quality of work and regular monitoring of the ongoing works.
Earlier, The Div Com also chaired a meeting of sectoral officers at PWD guest house and inquired about the ongoing works in sub division Sunderbani.
