Srinagar: Srinagar Police on Saturday said that it has recovered an unidentified male dead body, age about 45 years near Gurdwara Mehjoor Nagar area of Srinagar. The body was later taken to hospital for autopsy and other medico legal formalities.
A police statement issued on Saturday said “proceeding under section 174 CrPC has been initiated. After completion of all necessary legal formalities including Covid test & Post Mortem, the body of the deceased person has been kept in Mortuary at GMC Srinagar”.
Police has also informed that anybody having any information regarding the identity of the deceased person may kindly inform Police Station Sadder on 9596770859, PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 112.
